I started my relationship with Nadaburg School staff and students when my youngest son, Timothy, was in the 5th grade in Mr. Gabriel's class. He is now a Senior at Wickenburg High School. Time sure flies when you are having fun! I started out just volunteering with PTSA and here I am several years later, working in the computer lab enhancing student and teacher technology skills. I really enjoy the students of Nadaburg and am always thrilled to see them move on to High School secure in the fact that they received the best technology training and skills from Nadaburg Elementary School. I began teaching the Savvy Cyber Teacher course for Stevens Institute of Technology and Maricopa County Think Tank, in 1998 with Sonya Lilly. The course enables teachers to utilize the Internet in their classrooms. There is a wealth of resources on the Net and all of our teachers are in one way or another using those resources in their everyday instruction. My hobbies and interests are my two little miniature pinschers- Spider and Bruizer, going boating with my family, and I love learning new things about technology! | |
